SOLAR INSTALLATIONS

PROCESS

The typical residential solar installation takes between 3-4 months from the time you sign up to the time your system is activated.

SITE ASSESSMENT

1 – Site Assessment

We analyze your property and electricity bill to determine the best system design that meets your needs and budget. We create realistic expectations for solar savings based on bankable data. Our estimate includes everything. There’s no additional costs down the road.

2 – Design and Permit

We double check our measurements before designing the plans for your system. Then we confirm our design with you before we file permit paperwork with the local municipality and electric utility on your behalf. Then we wait for the permit review process to be approved.

3 – Installation

Once the permit is approved, the average residential system takes two days to install. We facilitate the electrical inspection to get the stamp of approval for the paperwork. Monitoring is included on every system to ensure optimal production. Included is your owner’s manual alongside an orientation to your solar monitoring.

4 – Activation

The electric company gives you the final permission to operate. They may need to install a bi-directional meter to get you on the net-metering program. Once you get their permission, you can flip the switch. Congrats, you’re now solar powered!
